What I’m Up Against
Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Hello again friends! Praying this is finding you waking to a day that will be positive and full of accomplishments! As we take time to ponder on things while getting ready for the day, have you thought about what we as believers are up against? Do you ever think on whether you are ready for what lies ahead? Maybe, you are like me and feel that all things can be done with God’s help! Maybe you know the battles you face are not physical but actually are spiritual; that those things are the ones we need to be in daily prayer against. Sure, we have struggles, trials, times of despair, times of just wondering whether the next check will be enough; but those things are just life. The real dangers during our journey here is actually the misinterpretations of scripture, loving the world, letting political choices rule, deceptive ideologies, the allurement of sins, spiritual apathy, moral decay; the list of evil is deep! We are up against so many things that contradict the Bible in so many ways. Our spiritual warfare is ongoing because the devil knows he can’t win, but he has to keep trying, it's an obsession to him. We have the tools to keep him at bay if we put our whole trust in God and His words, His commandments, His teachings, His guidance. If we put on the armor of God, love our enemies, humble ourselves, pray without ceasing, be doers and not just hearers of His word, and believe God is for us then nothing can succeed against us! The devil is active with trying to hinder our faith, but if we fight against what he dishes out by trusting in God’s power, peace and joy can continue for us. Take a moment to read Ephesians 6; then believe and trust that by living life with the armor God provided, you can defeat anything and anyone that comes against your trust in God! What you are up against in your daily lives can be adjusted, completed, corrected, overcome; just by giving your all to God, following Him, and working toward that heavenly home! Realize that with God all things are possible!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come now thanking you for salvation, for giving of love unconditionally. Thank you, Father, for your word and all that it can teach us. Thank you, Father, for the armor that can help us defeat the evils of this world. Father, we ask that you continue to teach, guide and protect us as we journey this world and help us to find peace in knowing that you alone are the true creator, that with you all things are possible. Amen.
