Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Greetings everyone! May you be waking to a new and improved day that will hold only good things. Maybe today we can understand how to transform a day into something better than it was. All of us have days that start good, mellow out, and sometimes they become unexpectedly full of disappointments! It’s not that we were not positive at the beginning; it’s that we let the world and negative people show up and cause havoc with what God had already blessed us with. Many times, God speaks about renewing your mind so that the personal stress, the work stress, the life stress, becomes calmer, becomes healed. Those times can become less if we remember to keep a few verses of encouragement written on something we carry with us, or memorized for such times. When we bring God into the picture and quote the words He provided for times when we need more than what we are feeling, the stress starts reducing and our minds transform. As we encounter anything negative, it is always better to bring God into it, speak Jesus name out loud, and pray for God’s presence to come and touch you in the situation so that peace will come. Anything that can cause anxiety, stress, pain, or confusion, can ruin a day in a matter of seconds; unless you transform those moments into positive thoughts and actions! Taking a moment and visualizing the positive, speaking Jesus name, choosing to change your perspective, your actions; thus, taking back your day and filling it with peace, contentment, joy! Also, ask yourself, am I going to let the devil steal my joy? Am I going to allow this negative person to use a worldly mindset to steal my peace? Can my God not transform any negative into a positive if I just call on Him? Realize that God uses these moments to remove unhealthy habits, and relationships; transforming us, so we can transform the day! As we bring in the spirit-led transformation, all the negative thoughts and fears will be removed and the changes will begin. Begin a new routine of studying the Bible before you begin your day. This way you are already fueled up and ready for anything coming your way! Trust in God’s process, it’s worth the transformation, to keep a good day going!
