Standing In Confidence

Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Greetings friends! Let’s say hello to a new day full of possibilities and positive thoughts and actions! As you begin your day take another moment to thank God for the confidence He provides to each of us, just like Proverbs 3:26, “For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.” Let us all know that to be confident is to rely solely on God’s strength, His promises, His love for you as His child. When we are secure in God’s foundations, we will find that our faith grows, our trust grows, and our bond with Him grows. Confidence does not come from arrogance, pride or self-sufficiency; all of which can lead to spiritual drawbacks. We must understand that through Christ’s power we can obtain the “fearless confidence”, the one provided by God and not through our own accomplishments. When we gain confidence in all that God can and will do, we no longer are centered in self but in the trust and faith of God. By placing our trust in the fact that God has created us intentionally, for His purpose, and He will provide the Holy Spirit to dwell within you, pushing out any fear, and brings a spiritual confidence like no other! God will also be there when we falter, or let selves’ step into the lime light. He will give you inner pricks that will allow you to come back to the fact that everything you do, say or accomplish is because of Him and not just your abilities (which are God given). When we stand in confidence, we are signifying that we trust God to help us endure life, failures, successes, and He will always be beside us through them all. Standing in confidence will also help us to tell others about the love of God; to stand up for Him above all things, to live lives that prove He is the only true God. By taking on humility, we become more confident, thus proving God’s power made perfect even in weakness and that your worth is found in Christ rather than personal accomplishments. It is okay to be proud of all you have achieved, but remember that you had God beside you, helping you to get those blessings! Thank Him first for all He has given you, then those who stood beside you encouraging you to keep going. Stand in confidence with God’s “fearless confidence”!
