II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Morning friends! I pray you are waking to a new and glorious day which God has given as a gift that we can all use to spread positive and joyful attitudes no matter where we are! As we go through each day we will be aware that nothing stays the same; days will be good or days will be bad; even somewhere in between. Everyone knows that seasons change; most have been taught that there are four seasons every year. Some states here in the U.S.A. may want to say that is wrong because they have more like six or seven! Yeah, that is because weather, at its finest changes without warning and even with the best equipment, some things cannot be seen until they happen! There will always be shifting in our lives as well; times of joy, of sorrow, of excitement, continuous work, of rest when we just take it. But through all the changes, we are blessed with the fact that God has no seasons of change; He is constant, sovereign, and always present with us. We also have to realize that seasons in life are not random, they are for a purpose. Many of us are very adamant about not liking change; and it can definitely be a process that can take time. The important thing is, we must admit it’s a problem and then work with God to overcome that interior problem. Changes are actually good for us, because it helps us to grow mentally, physically and spiritually. During changes we as believers are encouraged to remain rooted in the scriptures, pray without ceasing, and ask for knowledge from God about the changes that are coming in your life. We must be aware that we need to prepare, and embrace whatever season God is bringing to us, and never fight against it. To accept seasonal changes in life we must be like a tree planted by the river, Psalm 1:1-3. We can endure the seasons as long as we follow the plans God lays out for us. Whether it be in personal changes, physical changes or spiritual ones; God already has the plan we just need to trust in the process of changes. You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength, Philippians 4:13. Without the changes that come with the seasons, how would we enjoy the beauty of God’s creation through change?
