Process of Trusting Joy

Romans 15:13, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

Greetings everyone! Have we wakened with positive thoughts? Are we determined to make the best of this day? Have we met with God in our quiet place and meditated on our thankfulness? Today, let’s find joy in the little things; pushing for joy in the good times and bad! As we process the trust of joy; can we say that our joy is complete internally so that it exudes on our outside character? The truth is, trusting in God can bring about joy unspeakable, joy full of wonder, deep loving joy! Most ministers, scholars, Bible teachers all agree that joy is an internal spiritual state and not a temporary emotional reaction to the circumstances outwardly around us. As our trust in God grows, we find joy that helps us through trials, through blessings; we focus on eternal hope and not pain! The story of Paul shackled in chains comes to mind, because they still felt joy and began singing and praising God though held captive. Jesus spoke constantly about joy coming when we abide in His love and keep His commandments; both lead to full, complete joy! As we accept the Holy Spirit into our hearts that joy grows. When we take time to share our burdens with God, He takes over, thus giving us that inner peace and joy. If we do not continue to abide in God’s truth, our trust and joy can slip away, and the devil will try to step in and cause havoc. But, we need to see that lie, repent from doubting God’s goodness and let God bring back that joy, to give us a need to study His word, pray, meditate. Our trusting in the joy of the Holy Spirit will root us into inner contentment; a peace and comfort, a joy unbreakable! If you have found yourself down and distraught, take a minute to grasp that joy that God already placed in your heart. Cry out to God and have Him give you strength, peace, comfort; remember, “you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you”! Philippians 4:13 KJV Also, trust God to bring joy in all things; He will never leave you, trust the process of joy!
