Pour Out Grace
II Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”
Morning friends! Can we just say welcome, you great and glorious day that the Lord has made?! Today we are going to be positive in every moment no matter what is thrown our way! As in the title, let’s just pour out grace by the handfuls so others will bask in the joy and happiness God’s grace can give! Scholars tell us that grace is the unmerited favor of God that can and will change sinners into saints and will provide strength to every weakness! God has an unlimited abundance, and provides it daily to everyone; even those who have no clue! He never just sprinkles a little here and there; He pours it out from His fulness; even to those who do not deserve it. Have you taken a few moments to relate to that title? Have you thought just how many times we failed God, yet He continues to show grace and mercy; giving us active strengthening of our obedience, our ministry, completely forgiving our failures? Think about it for a moment; the supreme act of grace was Jesus sacrificing His life to forgive all sins and offering salvation, then the thief, was shown immediate grace given to him in his final moments of receipt of a home in eternity in heaven. Have we not read scripture after scripture of God proving His mercy and grace toward the ones He loves; all mankind? The pouring out of grace can be linked to the Holy Spirit pouring out on believers, showing how He provides all things for all of us, even when we are not worthy. Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Paul believed that God’s grace helps believers to feel alive and also places spiritual blessings on us. The actions we take toward others by showing kindness, generosity, empathy, are some of the things that prove grace exist; it protects, it provides, it redeems, it saves! We receive another type of grace because we give grace to others! God giving us grace, moves us in deep fulfilling ways. It can bring us closer to the one who pours out grace the most! Take a moment before you begin your day and pray a prayer of thankfulness for all the grace God has poured out on you; then thank Him for the grace that is coming in the future!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come now to thank you for every grace that you have given to each of us. Thank you, Father, for loving us unconditionally; for your son dying on that cross so that we might have everlasting life with you. Help us Father, to show that same kind of grace toward everyone we know and meet; help us grow more and more each day into the disciple you want us to be. Amen.
