Never Withdraw
II Timothy 2:19, “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
Morning everyone! Welcome to this new day encouraging positive thoughts and actions through every moment we are given. We want to look at whether we tend to withdraw from a few things or many things; or is it a safety mechanism? When we become believers, we are encouraged to maintain our faith, our endurance, and our gathering together with like-minded Christians. We are to bring ourselves to a new way of life, thus withdrawing from the old self, the old ways, the people who can bring us down. The benefits of salvation are, that God never withdraws from us; He urges us to be steadfast in faith, trust, love and obedience. Even when we turn our backs on Him, or backslide into old ways; He is always there, always reaching, emphasizing His faithful covenant. There is no sin or low place that He cannot pull you from! He can show you that humanity will abandon you, but He remains ever present within your soul! The only withdrawing that God agrees with, is the peaceful, tranquil, alone time, that you must find time for; that quiet nook, or walking path, the hillside, just somewhere alone with Him. When you withdraw to a quiet place, God can come down and converse with you one on one; helping you to find strength, faith and love that will guide you through any trial you may be facing. Also, be aware that when you allow worry, fear or depression to enter; you are withdrawing from God, these things are types of sin! While you are gaining ground with your new salvation, take a moment to realize that when you withdraw from the people who you associated with in sin; remember to testify to them, pray for them and don’t give up on their souls, just their way of sin! God always offers a way to restoration and rebirth into salvation! Also, when you have times of doubt, despair or unworthiness; this is the time to not withdraw from those fellow believers who can encourage and help you to get through those moments. Remember, God never withdraws from you, He is just a prayer away! Never withdraw unless it’s to a quiet place with God!

Prayer:
Precious Father, we come now thanking you for never leaving or forsaking us when we become doubtful or withdraw back to old ways. Father, please continue to bring your presence down to converse with us on a one to one level. Help us, Father, to gain understanding in how to withdraw the right way. Thank you, Father, for the guidebook you have provided that gives us the information needed to know when we are withdrawing, and how to restore that relationship with you. Amen.
