Adjusting the Channel

Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

Salutations dear friends! Blessings to you and yours on this new day the Lord has seen fit to give each one of us! As we start this day, let us be thankful that God provides a way for us to adjust the channel of our lives! Yes, it seems silly to think on life in this way, but sometimes people need a “worldly” way to help them understand how to make changes, redirect, reevaluate, and commit to being a child of God. Everyone of a certain age has changed the channel on the T.V., radio; went from one thing to another in order to find something that catches their eye or ears! As we adjust to growing in the physical, we also take on changes, choices, mentally searching for something positive to interact with that will help us, teach us, transform us to something better. When we become saved believers, we start adjusting our minds, our hearts, and especially our habits to a new improved Christ-like frequency. The channel now is locked in to what we can receive from God, from His words in the Bible, other Christians; any true Godly knowledge. The frequency caters to all things Godly, new life, new attitude, new friends, new challenges, new hopes and dreams. We will let God have the control of helping with breaking away from the world and opening our eyes to all that is in the likeness of Christ. Our routines will change to trusting God in all circumstances, receiving a joy and peace we now will long for. With God’s strength, all things will become possible; fear will leave and anything that was misguiding us will be in the past. Our growth will depend on our steadfastness in studying, praying, doing good to others, finding a likeminded group of believers for encouragement and stability! The only channel searching we will begin to do will be to find music, books, activity that aligns with all that is Godly! We will also have the need to channel our feelings of transformation to those around us; we will have the need to adjust other’s lives with God’s help! If you are already on the right path, continue to grow with God, and don’t be afraid to share what God can do so others can adjust their channel!  So, if you haven’t adjusted your channel to what God offers, take a moment and ask Him to come into your heart so you can get the joy unspeakable and full of Glory! Adjust your life now before it’s too late, it will definitely be a channel breaker!
