Praises Don’t Stop

Psalms 117:2, “For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.”

Good morning! Welcome to another glorious day in the Lord! May today be all that you have envisioned, planned; or maybe you just want to be surprised by the good things God has in store! I like to think that sometimes God has little “happies”, that He wants to share as we go through the day; little things like a rainbow, a cardinal in the yard, a kind word from a stranger; just a little thing! This is where I believe praises come in; you know, the praises that just don’t stop! The first one for every day, is the fact that we opened our eyes to a new day! Somewhere, someone might not have, BUT, they did wake up in heaven! Praises come in all kinds of things; mentally, physically, spiritually; they are always present if you just look. Somebody thousands of miles away may wake not knowing where their next meal would come from, but then their baby smiled at them, their husband hugged them; it really is in how you look at praises working! Regardless of circumstances, God is worthy of praise, and praising during trials builds faith, endurance, trust. The best example of someone who kept praising, is Job. He lost everything, yet he believed God would provide, protect and keep His promises; and God did! We must keep the faith in good times and in bad. We must praise God in all things and for all things whether large or small, significant or insignificant. In Thessalonians 5:16-18, we are encouraged to “rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstance”. Praise is a weapon against the enemy so he cannot use our pain or grief or our trials to pull us from our faith in God! Use your praise at all times, in all things and no matter where you are! I know I use praise in many of these posts but it is because God is worthy to be praised! He is the Alpha, the Omega, the one true God; the one that provides any and all things for all of us! There is no other like Him! So, get your praise on, because PRAISES don’t stop!
