Peace In Pieces
John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Good morning. As you awake to start this day, think positive. Today just give yourself the chance to have peace inside and out. Realize that true peace comes in pieces and it’s never the same. Life is like a jigsaw puzzle; constantly looking for the right pieces; finding which ones fit best! Try to find it in everyday moments; the little things and the big things! As you read the paper; though articles may hold turmoil somewhere else; pray for them and be thankful it is not here. Find it in a warm bath or shower after a hard day of work; when you feel relaxed, the pieces become whole! We will always need different parts in life to complete total peace; even the ugly parts! Through struggles we must find peace so that we overcome those negative times. Maybe you find peace while outside; gardening, walking, sitting in the sun or shade; running or jogging! It is possible to have prayer time anywhere because this allows God to come down and dwell with you giving you peace! We can even find peace in knowing our children are enjoying playing sports, acting in plays, singing at concerts; any event they are a part of! Joy inside brings peace! Even in death, we can receive peace in the knowledge that loved ones or friends are no longer suffering! In all things God can bring peace. He can bring the pieces together that will give you peace. Open up today to all the pieces that can provide you peace!
