Let Faith Rise Up
Colossians 2:7, “Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”
Morning dear friends! Praying this finds you full of positivity and joy that God has given us a new day to thank Him, praise Him, and share that same feeling with anyone we come into contact with today! For today’s topic, let’s talk on faith and everything that comes when we place our trust in all that He can do for each of us. Many biblical opinions say that when we let faith rise up, we actively choose to put our trust in God’s power; that we know He controls circumstances and He will keep His promises. Having faith helps us to move forward through life without fear, without doubt; daily seeking Him to help us overcome pain, to rely on His strength, trusting with our obedience. Having true faith means that we choose to focus on Jesus, to trust His timing. It means to have firm belief, confidence in His ability, committed to obeying His word. When we get that conviction in our hearts we then can confess our sins and shortcomings, then have a true conversion into salvation! Scholars have found proof that believers know that faith without action is dead; that your life must have love, obedience and good works; that we acknowledge that God does exist! Having true faith, means to abandon reliance on man or self and place total dependence on God, His actions, His promises; believing in His word written in the Bible. As we grow in our spiritual walk with God, we cannot help but let our faith “rise up”; to let others see God working in our lives; to share how He can make the difference in how our lives continue. The ability to rise up in times of trials, pain and loss; you have to have faith; the discernment to know God can do all things if you just ask, just trust Him! The woman with issues had faith to just touch Jesus’ garment, the disciples had faith to follow, Noah built a boat, David faced a giant, the list is endless! Take a moment to recheck your own faith! Are you trusting in the process? Are you giving all your needs to God? Are you studying the word? Are you living a life that shows others how real faith can be? Trust in the promises and start letting your faith RISE UP!

Prayer:
Precious Lord, thank you for all you are and all you do for each of us daily. Thank you, Lord, for your words that we can use as a light unto our paths. Thank you, Lord, for the unconditional love that you provide daily to prove to us that having faith in you is the best thing we could have. Help us, Lord, to keep growing our faith by studying, meditating and calling on you in good and bad times. Amen.
