John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Greetings friends! Welcome to another day and no matter what the weather may be where you are, may you be feeling happy thoughts and placing them toward the day so it will bring positivity into it! Yes, we need to keep talking about positive actions, reactions, thoughts, behaviors! When we are believers, we have accepted Christ and a new life has been given to us that should make us happy at all times! Even is bad times, each of us should think on positive things so that the devil can’t sneak in and use that negative feeling you are having to take your joy away! Just thinking about the new birth of our new life with Christ should be exciting. That, someday, though we lost loved ones, friends, people we knew, there is an eternal hope that one day we will be with them again! How can anyone not feel a peace come over them in that knowledge? Psalms 30:5, “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” David spoke of his own trials, pains, and told his own people that there would be coming a time when sorrow would be no more and that heaven would end all suffering and pain. Even Job who suffered great pain and sorrow, trusted God to still be his one true God! Maybe we need to go back and read back over some of the ones who believed in hope eternal! This is not to say that we shouldn’t cry or feel pain, sorrow, anguish over loss. It means to remember the happy, joyful times, to bring honor to them by living joyful like they would have! I find peace in the laughter of memories shared with those gone! I get tearful, and then I start thinking of the jokes, the good times, the moments of happiness, the memories of laughter! If we sat and grieved we would become deathly ill, our bodies would shut down and we would not be able to exist and that would be an abomination to God! God said our bodies are a temple to Him, and we are to care for them! If we let them succumb to negative, sad, disheartening feelings the devil wins and that is a sin! Look for the positive above all else and through all things! Tell the devil he cannot defeat God because you have eternal hope through Christ our Lord! Romans 5:5, “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Our foundations are built on the hope of an eternity with God. Each of us, at the moment of becoming a born-again believer, receives and believes in the eternal hope of one day being in the presence of the Almighty God in heaven! If you ever let the devil step in and bring negative moments or feelings, stop, pray, then think on your hope eternal! I know that the thought of being in the presence of Jesus brings a peace I love to feel daily!
