Good Morning Mercy
Psalm 25:6, “Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and they lovingkindnessses; for they have been ever of old.”
Greetings! Are we starting today on a positive note? Can we brush aside anything negative so we can receive God’s blessings that are waiting for us? Many times, even as we wake in the morning, our minds quickly jump to the negative. In life, our journey has moments of the unknown which we need to seek guidance with. Though we went to bed with positive affirmation, we awoke with apprehension again. Finding trust in the outcome takes a building up of our faith within so we can produce it on the outside. We need to remember all the grace and mercy God has shown us during our lives; even the mercy He provided before we became His children. During our time before salvation, God was always there protecting and reaching out for each of us to come into the folds of His arms. Choosing to accept salvation brought you out of a path of destruction and into the journey of completeness. We choose to walk the right path whether anyone else follows. When we accept God’s mercy and grace we have the desire to love like He says, and trust like He says. He just doesn’t meet you half way, He comes directly to you, accepting you as you are, offering a new beginning and a better ending! Every person has the opportunity to make the right choice; because this world has nothing lasting to offer. Daily we are being shone grace and mercy, even when we deny Him. Maybe today, when the negative thoughts appear, stop and say good morning mercy, let’s get started!
