Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Good Morning! Praying this is finding you waking with positive energy that will carry you through the day! Today, let’s look at how and possibly when we became aware of how God is in control. How we realized that everything that happens is for a reason; that we finally get that He is God! Our minds and our eyes have opened and can see clearly that He, God, is real. That He is almighty, the Prince of Peace, the creator of all things. He truly is Jehovah-Jireh, Yahweh, El Shaddai; the name above all names! Most would say that the spirit moved upon us the moment we accepted Him into our hearts and professed our faith in Him. There are others who say that they knew when the Holy Ghost filled them and they spoke in tongues during a service. I can say that I have heard some say that they saw the truth of God’s existence the moment their new born child was handed to them and that little face beamed with life in front of their eyes! There are times that when we experience the beauty of the sun as it rises across the plains, the mountain tops, the ocean; we see God’s hands of creation shine with great power and we cannot say that we cannot clearly see that He is God! Others also, will say that they watched as a soul on deaths bed become healed as believers prayed for God to intervene. People all over the world could tell you of miracles that occurred that could not be explained, except that God’s people kneeled and called out to the one true God and He came, He provided, He healed! Clear as day, God will make a way when there is no way! Today, we as believers must continue this same faith by trusting in God’s word. In Matthew 17:20, “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Being filled with a sound faith in all that God can and will do, brings about recognition of who He clearly is. We need to study His word and take heed to His teachings, letting Him guide us through this world. When you feel that you cannot see a clear path to where you need to be, stop, take a moment to call on God for a strength beyond what you have. Ask Him to guide you to where you need to be. Let Him lead you to others that can encourage, teach, provide you with ways to be more Christ-like in your daily walk. Sometimes what you are looking for is right in front of you, you just need to open you eyes to see what God is showing you, clear as day!
