Jeremiah 32:17, “Ah Lord GOD! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”
Salutations dear friends! It is another blessed day that God has provided for each of us! May today be filled with only positive vibes, joy and peace. Have you ever wondered about power? Could you explain, if asked how power really works? When you hear of a greater power, do you go instinctively to the thoughts of God and all His power? Maybe you go to the power of government, kingdoms, provinces, countries; maybe kings, queens, political candidates, prime ministers, priest, or popes? Just for a moment, maybe you think of electrical currents, power grids, storms, lightening bolts, volcanos, earthquakes, tidal waves, or tsunamis? Within each of those in question, they contain some type of power, control, devastation, disasters, dangers; but with limitations! This is where we need to admonish the true greater power; the one that is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent! There is no doubt that God has the ultimate greater power in all things; He is real, dangerous, wonderful and comforting. He knows the past, the present and the future of all things. He is never limited on anything, neither space or location; He is infinite, eternal, incomprehensible, Holy, Divine, and able to resurrect His own Son! He is not just a distant cosmic being, but an active indwelling force! We are His children, created in His image, designed for His purpose of a family. In I John 4:4, John wrote, “Ye are of God, little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” His power can transform His people into believers, apostles; giving them new lives of peace, love and joy. When we believe, we can activate His divine power to provide strength that allows us to navigate this world. Paul referred His power to “exceeding greatness”, “incomparably great”, because He alone could give or take life. He is the power that is the Almighty, the Supreme Creator, and the Sovereign Lord over all creation, heaven and earth; He is above all rulers and authorities. It is good that we know of power, whether of nature, political or countries; keep abreast of all things is part of knowledge. But, if you want to be a part of the family of God, receive salvation to ensure your place in heaven, then you really need to study up on God’s word, meditate with Him daily, pray to Him for all your needs; then you can know the true Greater Power!

Prayer:
Precious Father, we come to you now thanking you for all that you are, all that you can be, all that you are to us. Thank you, Father, for the power of the blood of Jesus that washed away our sins and gave us a hope in a heavenly home with you. Thank you, Father, for your word that can lead, guide and direct us in living a Christ-like life that is pleasing to you. Help us Father, to understand and comprehend the difference in all powers we know; and to know that you are the one true Greater Power. Amen.
