Do It Anyway
Matthew 7:21, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
Morning friends. Thankful for another day; praying for a positive, uplifting day! Just want to praise the Lord for allowing us another opportunity to give Him the glory, to let others see Him in us, and to find ways that we can share the love we know He provides. The title of todays thoughts can be profound in so many ways! I look at it as positivity; the acknowledgement that stepping out into the unknown may be scary but it just might be worth it! It seems to always bring me to when Jesus told His disciples to “go forth, spread the news”, He gave them that boost of confidence that so many lack today. But as we live for Him, we find that not only by words can we spread that message but by intentional actions, daily lifestyles; just by demonstrating love and kindness, we have “spread” that message! To become more confident, we must seek God’s guidance through prayer, and studying His word. When we ask God to aid us in our testimony; whether by personal interaction, social media, engaging in community service; we gain more insight to what will actually be heard, seen, absorbed! If you face negativity that suggest you need to wait, or not do the service right now; stop, ask what Jesus would do, then do it anyway! When we wait or listen to the wrong person, we miss the opportunity to do God’s will and another soul may be lost to the world. If we have prayed through, gained insight from His word, and we feel deep in our hearts that there is a need at this moment; we truly need to follow through! When we use our talents; like music, singing, writing; we also reach out and share God through another avenue! We just do it anyway! The devil works diligently to stifle any means used for spreading God’s gospel. Spreading the gospel is fulfilling, and it is definitely an essential part of our faith! Sometimes, it’s not about the amount you do but how faithfully you use your talents, your voice, your words, to do the job of sharing. As you choose to become a faithful follower, a faithful believer, a true disciple; pray for opportunities to be what God called you to be. Even if you face negativity, JUST do it anyway!

Dear God, we come today, thanking you for giving us salvation. We thank you for your words that teach and guide us in how to become disciples for you. God, we ask that you continue daily to give us the strength to stand and speak your name and your word anyway; no matter how others may fight to stop us. God please continue to give us all we need to become more like you. Amen.
Fallen Short
I Corinthians 10:13, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to hear it.”
Salutations to you all! I pray this is finding you awaking to a day that will be filled with positivity. Today, let’s talk about how each of us have had that sad feeling about not measuring up, that we may have fallen short in life. It is assured that every person has that thought at some point or another. Even in families that the outside world sees as “perfect”, “held together”, those with a deep façade. No one is exempt from this world pulling you into sin, corruption, or bitterness; evil that causes universal missing out of God’s holiness to us. When we allow this world to replace our trust, faith, and belief in God’s grace, favor, mercy we become stagnant, we lose personal blessings; we suffer because the devil tells us we don’t need God! As we begin to fall short, thus relying on “self”, turning away from God, our hearts become bitter, we lose appreciation, lose our spiritual relationship; we become negligent; searching for “things”, that take our joy. We then find only negative thoughts, actions, reactions; just overall sadness in every moment of every day. Each of us seeks blessings without true repentance! This leads us to become like the Israelites in the wilderness; just wandering around in circles, becoming left out from the blessing of entering the promised land! Our new goal needs to begin focusing on small consistent changes and improvements through getting back out spiritual relationship with God. Working toward positive, appreciative, understanding of where we failed; not trying to obtain perfection, but deeply wiling to get back to God! Getting back to God is not instant; it will require focus, repentance, a true reliance on God’s strength, not self-perfection! Allowing all negative, self-proclaimed worldly ways to be dropped from your daily life will help you prioritize the spiritual blessings God has waiting for you. Recognize you have weaknesses, then seek forgiveness, and then start trusting in God’s mercy. Push yourself to get away from the “falling from grace”, that abandonment of faith, and pray for a transforming experience that fills you with God’s love, grace and guidance on a daily basis! We all have fallen short, there are no perfect people; but do not let evil steal your joy, let it force you to search for the grace of God, to help you be more like God!

Prayer:
Father, we come now humbly asking for forgiveness for letting the world pull us in. Father, please come down and fill our hearts with the longing that keeps us wanting to find you in everything we do. Help us Father, to accept that we are not perfect but we can be perfectly filled with your grace, love and mercy. Amen.
Past Is Erased
Ecclesiastes 1:11, “There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.”
Morning! Today we want to think of how God can erase the past simply by being allowed by us to do so! Yes, our minds hold all the memories; of pain, regret, unworthiness; BUT God is the way! In Exodus, God led the Israelites across the desert then through the water. They doubted; letting their thoughts take them back to Egypt and the pain; again, forgetting who God is. He leads you through problems or impossible test just to help you see His plan. He wants us to forget the past heartaches, disappointments, rejections and reach toward the positive future. It is not that you need to not remember what you’ve been through, but that you don’t dwell there in it; use it as a lesson, a teaching moment. He already knows we as humans, are too weak fighting alone for the wars of this world, but your faith, hope and trust in Him will help you know who fights the battles for you. When we cry over the difficulties that are crossing our paths holds, we can miss the covering He is providing during that journey. There will be times you will feel like those obstacles are going to kill you; that you can’t deal anymore; BUT it is because you forgot to allow God to come in and control that problem, heal that disease, or provide the best solution. Start praying, start studying the word; give God that problem. When He gave you the opportunity to accept Him and salvation, He promised to be your constant sustainer, redeemer, comforter, protector. He works daily to guide you in spiritual growth, purpose and that personal relationship. Your task today will be to find the courage to put the past behind you and don’t look in the rearview mirror. Find your strength with God’s help, then allow Him to erase the negative past and push you toward the future.

Lord, thank you for your continued guidance during our lives. Lord, thank you for the past, teaching us about the letting go, the calling on you to protect, comfort, encourage. Thank you, Lord, for accepting us as we are, helping us to change into the person you know we can be. Lord, please continue to be ever present in our lives, through the good and bad. Amen.
Prodigal
Ezekiel 34:16, “I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgement.”
Morning friends! Greetings in the name of all that is precious in the eyes of God! May we have opened our eyes believing that this day will be joyous, productive and special! I pray that each of us will bring positive vibes to our own homes, to our family, and then take that feeling out the door to show others how awesome just being alive can change moments for the good! For a moment, can we talk of those who don’t have that positivity, those that feel lost, or are on the wrong path at this moment. Let’s talk of those who have become the prodigal child, the unsure young adult, or the grown person that is still searching. We all know the parable about the prodigal son in Luke 15; or if you don’t, this is the time to go read it! In life, each of us went through those awkward phases of wanting to just leave, go out on our own; to stop being told how to live! It happens to everyone, and at every age! Those with nurtured upbringing, tend to be in the category of better statistics; but sometimes being in the world draws them toward paths like the prodigal son. So, remember that your “good” upbringing doesn’t always mean you will stay centered on the best paths. When worldly pleasures, big ideas, opportunities away from a Godly path, offer to our eyes a seemingly better option, the devil uses that to take you off God’s guided path. For many, after we acknowledge that path is wrong; we simply begin to believe there is no path back, no true option for forgiveness. But… herein is the fact; God accepts everyone, no matter the path chosen, the addiction suffered, the lifestyle unbecoming; He is always going to give mercy, grace, and love! Giving Him back your life is accepting the unconditional love He offers, along with His forgiveness! Every family, friend, and the angels above will celebrate the return with the prodigal because they have found the way back to the promises of God. No valley is too deep that the love of God can’t reach down into it and draw you out, give you strength to climb back up, then encourage you on the journey of salvation! Today, let us reach out to God not only for our own strength but for those around us who feel they are the prodigal. Let us reach to them even while we are reaching and together become the returning prodigal; the one calling God to hold us again in His arms!

Stand Amazed
Jeremiah 32:18, “Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name.”
Hello again. Welcome to the day we have been given and may we take it in stride with only positivity! Today we want to understand how we stand amazed during our lives; whether at home, on a trip, or at work, or even when just enjoying time with others! Daily we see amazing things; especially if we have children, or family members who achieve success in different events, sports, raises, promotions, etc. When we are a close-knit family, we revolve around cheering on other members, we get excited to be a part of the excitement, the thrill, the awe and amazement. Even watching the Olympics, our competitive, our comradery, our love of country; get overwhelmed with emotion and become lifted by the amazing things athletes can do and achieve. This being said, do we not get amazed with the wonders that God created all around us? Do we stop and see the vastness of nature, His hand in the colors of the sky, His placement of millions of stars in the galaxy, birth of life in humans and animals? The people during Jesus’ time didn’t have to see signs and wonders; but because they knew the signs from before; the truth of things already seen. The cultivating of wonder comes through the practices of studying scriptures, having gratitude, being compassionate, remembering past faithfulness by other believers, serving, humility and engaging in worship. As we continue on our path that God has laid out; we must immerse ourselves in His word, meditate deeply with God through prayer and quiet time. When we dedicate time to Him and be consistent in learning, understanding, accepting His guidance; we will build trust and faith. We begin to see the amazing ways He can fill us with all we need to become more like Him! As we apply those teachings to each moment of every day, we allow that amazement to work through us, then allow it to lead us, so we can share that awe with others. That wonder and reverence will transcend our lives so that everything will be seen through different eyes; truly see who God is, and what He created, and especially all that He can do and provide. So today, stop, look, listen; it’s all around us, so for a moment just stand and be amazed!

See Grace
I Corinthians 15:10, “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was in me.”
Greetings friends! May today be that day that all your worries disappear, that your dreams become a reality; that good things will happen! Today, we need to focus on the grace of God and how we can better understand it; then see it! When we speak of grace, our thoughts go to the meaning behind the word. Paul used it as a Greek word “charis”, which in our translation is favor, a gift, or just kindness. For many it can lack visual imagery, but when we receive the action of grace, our demeanor is completely changed. In many opinions, to find true grace one must connect with God, spend time in a quiet place, study His word, learn about prayer by communing with God on a personal level. We find in scriptures that to receive God’s grace means to show compassion, forgiveness, empathy and true love for others. How can we receive this from God if we are not willing to show the same towards others; even those who are in a different class, and especially those who have hurt us? When we study the word, we find that true grace is unmerited, undeserved favor and love; given freely to us by God. As He shows grace to us, we need to become grateful; then respond by showing that same grace to the world. Another point of explaining grace is to think of how we as sinners must realize how by grace we are saved through Jesus Christ dying on a cross; taking OUR place. History tells of the author of the song “Amazing Grace”, found God after pleading for mercy and grace, on a ship in a storm. Though his background was evil, treacherous, and full of sin; he proclaimed that God showed him mercy and grace, thus he repented and did a one eighty, becoming a minister. This proves that no sin is too great, no life is too far gone, that God can and will receive you as one of His own! Those words in that song ring true, “Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me, I was blind, but now I see”. When we are blind in sin, rejecting salvation; not willing to allow God to come in; we have not yet found grace or mercy. That moment we open up and ask Him in; life is altered for the better! From then on, we will actually SEE GRACE!

May we “see” grace by sharing that same action toward those who need it most. Give us strength to show mercy and grace in prayer for those who harmed us or are harming us now. Father, please help us to show grace daily through the sharing of you and your promises. Amen.
Remind Me
John16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Good morning! How are we doing this day that God gave us to cherish? Did we wake with the positive attitude that we will need to get through another day? Have we remembered to pause, breathe, then meet God in prayer that will secure our guidance from Him as we move through the moments of this day? Today we really want to focus on how God reminds us to call on Him at all times. That in Him all things are possible and with Him we have strength for the struggles, the challenges, the successes and achievements! As we step into today, let’s look at how we can be more in line with how He takes time to be present, to be available at a moment’s notice. Maybe we should recall just one time we know without doubt that, had He not been there, the experience or the accident could have been totally different. Maybe we had an interview that had pushed us to levels of unbelievable anxiety; yet when we called on Him; He came in and helped us to relax, to breathe, just whispered that little encouragement. All through the Bible, God was constantly reminding His followers to trust, to have faith; to just let go and let Him lead! Time after time, God shows his compassion every day; His renewing of His proven reliability in all our needs. Have we not been reminded of His daily mercies, our answered prayers, the unchanging truth of His words in the Bible? Do you not recall how “angels in disguise” showed up just in time? We are reminded of how those people He place in our paths supported us through crisis, supported us through the successes, gave us companionship when we thought we were alone. Jesus was constantly reminding His disciples of the teachings they received all their lives! He even reminded the Pharisees, Sadducees, priest, and Jewish leaders what the scriptures said; the teachings they were supposed to be giving to the people! We should be thankful that God is so merciful, forgiving, trustworthy, and gracious. As we go through the moments today and in the days to come, let’s focus on remembering why we are here. Let’s take time to remind ourselves that God is here for us; guiding us; loving us; all we need to do is call on Him, for we are His!

Make All Things New
II Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Salutations to every one! Let us be thankful for this very moment that God gave us as we opened our eyes to a new day of positivity. For thoughts today, we would like to talk of how things can become new. To many, the thought that old things are gone and cannot be made new; but can’t they? Your life is going on day by day, yet we all think back to the old times, the life at the beginning of our journey! As we look to God to accept His offer of forgiveness, His promise to dwell with us forever, we make a change to a new life; becoming a reborn spiritual creation. We transform from the old sinful, lost individual into a new improved man/woman full of righteousness and holiness. As we accept and embrace the new opportunities God will be creating, our lives will begin to change for the better. This new life will have daily challenges that we must seek His guidance in overcoming. Putting away the old life will be a constant struggle; letting go of any negative joy stealing family and friends will be the hardest. There will need to be daily studying, praying, forming mentorships with those who have been there before. The renewing of your mind and trusting the Holy Spirit to give you guidance and strength will become a needed blessing. Our lives must become a life of optimism, open-heartedness, character building with empathy, believing in the positive. When this change comes to you; as the spirit of God enters into your heart; you will find a peace that is beyond all comprehension! God can make all things new by breaking down the fortress of evil, transforming dark feelings or places into bright sun filled experiences, and bring hardened hearts to compassion and caring. God is asking us to have faith and trust in Him so we can be assured that He can help us to overcome sin, make hardships bearable, then provide everlasting peace! It is definitely true that God can make all things new!

Dear God, we come to you thanking you for allowing us to receive your blessings, your forgiveness, your everlasting life of promises. God, also, help us to rid ourselves of all the negative things that can steal our joy; but continue to pray for those who need to find themselves accepting you and making a new man in their own lives. Stars Shine
I Corinthians 15:41, “There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.”
Good morning everyone! I pray today you awakened to a great attitude and a desire to make the best of today, not matter what comes your way! There are so many ways we can look to the stars to know how or why they are present in the night skies. Today, also, there are so many definitions as to what a star actually means! Highlights of children, admonishment of media performers, the level of fame for those actors or actresses. Then we come to the actual discovery of those celestial balls of gas that create their own light and hover in the universe. Those we are in awe of because they illuminate to form shapes, galaxies, become beacons that lead us to destinations. We all become mesmerized as we watch them in the night sky whenever we can. In Genesis, God said they would be used to mark days, years, time. In Daniel, He told how we as Christians must shine His word to others; then in Ephesians, we came from being in darkness, only to become children of the light. Throughout the New Testament, God explained how becoming His children gave us the responsibility to show the world the true light of stars. He commanded us to, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven”, Matthew 5:16. We, just like the stars, are to shine, leading others out of the dark, becoming a duplication of God, the leading star! The stars have always been spiritually connected by God’s guidance and energy. If a ship was lost, it looked to the stars; if a traveler became lost in the terrain, he looked to the stars; we all need the stars, it was part of God’s creation. There are many that believe the celestial bodies symbolize hope, guidance, divine connection to God, a path to destiny of God’s truth. This also brings us back to the Star of Bethlehem. God used a star to manifest, shine extremely bright, then guide the Magi to Jesus. The researchers believe it was a phenomenon, something even better but, different than a star, because it moved differently; God gave it a quest and it fulfilled it! So today, find your inner light, the higher calling of God that guides you through the dark. Be the star that God chose you to be; spreading His message, His promises, His glory, to a dark world. Show others God’s light in you so you can be a star that shines!

Dearest heavenly Father, we come now asking that you continue to be the light that shines brighter than any other. Father, thank you for allowing your light to shine through us; causing us to let others see that light comes from you. Help us Father, to keep trusting in you, loving you, accepting your promises. Thank you for the beauty and the light of stars, but mostly for your heavenly light. Amen.
Winds Will Blow
Amos 4:13, “For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.”
Greetings friends! Welcome to this day the Lord has provided and may we each be accepting to all things that may cross our paths in today’s moments. Today, I wanted to just focus on how things happen; whether they are planned, thought about, or they suddenly appear or come to pass. The thought that brings this to mind is how the wind blows, how though we cannot see it, but we can feel it, yet, it is there. Just as God fills us with His presence, His love, His grace, His knowledge; we don’t see Him, but we feel Him. The old saying, “Seeing is believing”, but I like the quote in the movie “Santa Clause” better; “Seeing isn’t believing. Believing is seeing”. Herein, we must know that you first must believe in God with your whole heart and soul before you can truly SEE and accept Him! This brings us to the moment Thomas, Jesus disciple, did not believe He rose until he was in the presence of Jesus and touched his scars! Even though he followed along, proclaimed Him as the savior, he still needed that assurance that Jesus was alive! Just as today, we need assurance that God will keep His promises as sure as He allows the winds to blow. We can also compare winds to the experiences we have along this life’s paths. The good times will blow in just like the bad times. Each obstacle that comes along during our journey is meant to blow us off course or to whisk us into the correct direction; just like a ship that trust the wind to carry those sails! Biblical wind is compared to the Holy Spirit moving among us, calming us, soothing us, exciting us; it comes like the wind suddenly and out of nowhere! God’s spirit is the wind that whirls around this world changing things constantly, sometimes unpredictably. We know that we cannot control how the wind blows, how mighty or calm it can be. Just like the spirit of God moving with divine judgement, or dramatic change; we accept the movement, accept the help, accept the changes; good or bad. Our assessment of this movement is to know that God is in control and will give us the strength to endure however hard or gentle the winds will blow!

History Can Prove

Hello friends! I do pray this finds you with a good and positive beginning to your day! Even if the weather isn’t at all agreeing with you, or time is not on your side for arriving to your destination; may it get better as you pray for peace, for safety, for everything good! In every day life, we can find history in the making, history in the past. To be able to recall things of years gone by, whether just a few or many years; gives us information that can encourage us to keep going. Our need for the significance of how this world began, how it survived, how it moved forward, means we want answers and a deep true understanding. Just as historians, scientist, scholars, and researchers work diligently to prove how this world came into existence, we as Christians rely on God to give that true insight through His written words in the Bible. We don’t really question in a sense to disprove, we question to become more in line with God and all He promises He gives and how the end will be the best thing ever! There are so many reasons to say why can’t you see, read, accept; just truly believe with the history He provided in His word? So many times, as I read the stories of people in the Bible, I find myself unable to comprehend how back then, they could SEE Jesus, talk to Him, watch Him do miracles; YET, they still doubted! After receiving Him into your heart, living for Him daily, trusting Him, seeing good things happen, HOW can we not know God is proven time and time again? While I researched, I found that these historians have concepts; seven to be exact! They need to know the continuity and change, the cause and effect, the significance, the perspective, the evidence, the empathy, and then the contestability. They want everyone’s opinion, except God’s! Truth is, we learn from every moment in time through history. We are given the past events which serve as warnings, examples; all of which, if we just read and listen to the instructions; maybe our world wouldn’t be so messed up in many ways! Many keep saying that history repeats itself; but its due to worldly people, leaders, just not wanting to let God become the absolute leader! The old must be used with the new to enable true change; history can prove this!

God Remains
Joshua 1:9, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
Morning friends! We pray today has found you beginning with positivity and that you are seeing today as a gift from God. Today, we want to speak on how God has and will remain continually in our everyday lives. When we are happy, sad, distraught, excited; God is there among every moment! We can’t help but know that He is the one constant that remains steadfast in His love for us. Time and time again, throughout history and now in present day; God is remaining; never-ending. God’s people are His focus; even when we feel we have fallen away, forgotten His promises, He always remained. In John 15:4, God said He will abide in us, and that we should abide in Him. His scriptures evolve around the scope of His divine sovereignty, the facts that He has remained throughout our knowledge of man’s existence! In fact, His sovereignty has set His children (us) on a path to eternal life with Him and while on that path He promised to provide strength, help and hope here until our arrival in heaven. He is present and never changes His focus on eternal nature; His people; His faithfulness or His capability of never changing amidst this changing world. Creation may wear out, but He remains! When we abide in Him, we stay grounded in His ways, we persistently want to be enriched in His knowledge; we want to continue working toward eternal life in heaven! Jeremiah 9:24, “But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.” When we know that God is in control and has the power that fulfills His purpose, we see that His purposes are good and will comfort and strengthen us. As we go through hard times or good times, we must remember to lean on the truth that God’s knowledge and justice are way beyond our own understandings. We then must realize He meant what He said in every word that His disciples, His called prophets, leaders, wrote that came from His own voice. He has remained, and will keep remaining until His promise is fulfilled. So, the next time you feel lost, distant, alone; stop, focus, read His word, then PRAY; feel Him fill you with the truth that God remains!

Speak A Word
Matthew 4:4, “But he answered and said, It is written, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.”
Morning friends! Today is one more day God has added to our journey and we want to be thankful that He allowed us to go into it with Him! Have you started your day with earnest prayer that will ask for guidance in all you do today? As we head out to begin today, let’s focus on how we will use our words to speak to others. Thoughts come that we need to place certain expectations on how we not only receive the words of others but also to the words we choose in response to what we hear. Billy Graham once said, “In the morning, prayer is the key that opens to us the treasures of God’s mercies and blessings; in the evening, it is the key that shuts us up under His protection and safeguard.” Speaking prayer before our day begins and at nights closing, are words we need to use with God. Words, all words, are of use, all have several meanings, all are used to communicate; whether in good or bad ways. Scriptures are the words of God, emphasizing immense power; capable of bringing life, healing or even destruction. God’s word encouraged intentional grace filled speeches; they instruct, build others up, speak truth and declare faith that reflects the true power of God. Throughout the Bible, God pressed us to use words to strengthen, encourage, give wisdom, be gracious and kind, to share His promises. His words speak to us, proving that speaking softly with kindness would work much better than angry, conflicting responses. Wise words are also used in many scriptures, saying we need to always think before speaking; and it is so true! For reasons so in-depth; our words hurt, or heal even quicker than our actions. So today, and in every day, always stop, think, focus, on whether your response is going to help or hurt. Even when correcting your child, your spouse, your mate, your friend; pause, breathe then find the words that will heal and help! As you grow in your relationship with God, allow Him to teach you how to correctly speak a word!

Remaining Steadfast
Philippians 1:27, “Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.”
Salutations dear friends! Today let’s talk about finding the meaning of remaining steadfast in our daily routines, lives, prayer time and the needed relationship with God. Every day challenges us to accept the days as they come; but we need an unwavering faith. When we start our days with prayer, we allow God to step into the framework so He can guide our routines, our steps into decision making. Each of us should move with discipline, grace, and steadfast trust in the path God has planned for us. To be steadfast is to be firm, unwavering, and resolutely loyal in faith, purpose, and character; which means a commitment to God’s teaching and guidance. Despite the trials, the successes, we must remain firmly fixed, not moving away form God’s truth, or His promises. What if today is the only day you have? What if this day will be the only day you can tell others or show others how God can bless them as He has blessed you? Are you living your life steadfast in your faith? When you are going into a store, a business, does your presence send off vibes of spiritual goodness? Even at your job or at school, are you showing, through your outward appearance that God is guiding you, protecting you; shining through in all you do, or say? Do we as children of God forget that our journey may be the only Bible many will read; our lives preach to others that God gives us steadfast, continued love? If you haven’t heard the hymn “Let others see Jesus in you”, take a few minutes to google it! This author knew that we need to show our love and trust in God just as much as we need to tell others! As you head out today on whatever your routine is, why not ask yourself if you are being the best God has made you to be! Test yourself today and see if you are steadfast in your walk. Then, as you end the day reflect on how your walk may have affected someone who entered your path; then pray asking for strength to get back to remaining steadfast in your faith!

Proven True
I John 5:20, “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
Good Morning! Greetings to you all on this blessed day! We want to first thank God for just waking us up; for just proving to us He loves and protects us. For years, scholars and scientist have worked tirelessly to find ways to entice people to turn their backs on the true God. I believe everyone has been cared for and blessed by God and His loving power! Most, sadly believe they were lucky; sad because nothing is luck; it’s the will of God! The true God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in creation, in His word and in sending His son to die for our sins. James Sire quoted it as “God does not love us because we are so valuable; we are valuable because God loves us; to glorify God is not just to do so in religious worship, singing praise and enacting the traditional rites of the church. To glorify God is to reveal his character by being who we were created to be- the embodiment of the image of God in human form.” Now that is a mouthful and totally feels correct! When we open our hearts and ask God to forgive and enter into our soul; we see Him everywhere and in everything. As a believer God has proven true to His word, true to His promises; thus, we cannot find any reason for Him to not exist! Our hearts are filled with His presence along with the true promise of an eternity in His heavenly home. We as humans, believe that life is more than meets the eye; thus, just because you can’t see the one true God, He IS HERE! Through every birth, death, success, loss of success, disease or good health; God is proven true every single time, in every single moment, for every human being He created. So, today as you move to enjoy the moments, open your mind, soul and heart to the knowledge that God is proven true always and in all ways.

Faithful Promises
II Peter 1:4, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is I the world through lust.”
Hello friends! Happy morning time! Today we are looking toward all positive feelings and becoming very thankful for all the faithful promises that have fulfilled our journeys. We know without doubt, that God began with a promise and kept that promise along with many others to the people He created and loved. Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee”, shows the promises began early. He established a promise of guarding each of us against the evil one. His promise of a steadfast love that will never end; giving us strength in times of trouble and in peace. He continually promises to fill our hearts with joy, peace, and a personable relationship and answers to our prayers. Throughout the Bible time and time again, not one promise was ever broken. And again, let us remember that every day of our lives is not going to be a bed of roses! He didn’t promise that life would be perfect, without any obstacles. He did promise that no matter what comes into our path during life’s journey, He would never leave us or forsake us! When we trust in His faithfulness we become unshakable, stronger, hopeful; giving Him the glory in all things. When we worship and thank Him in the good times we are admonishing to Him that we are His; full of trust and honor. Our true faith and trust come when we praise Him in the bad times, the down times; those times when we doubt and wonder if He hears us! When we praise Him in the storms of life we are showing our deep continued faith that He alone carries all our burdens and is willing to stay beside us, guiding us to the good times. When reading the Bible, we find story after story of real people who placed trust in His faithful promises. They endured the same troubles, the same heartaches, the same broken spirits; yet they believed in the promises. Their constant faith led them to a home in eternity with the one constant, Jesus. So today, take time to pray, to listen, to accept His unending love. Today and every day strive to trust Him more and know in your hearts that He is the one with all the faithful promises!

Filling Up The Empty
Romans 15:13, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Salutations friends! Thankful for the opportunity to see another day. Today we want to look at the empty parts of our lives and how we can fill any voids with God’s never-ending love. So many people let negative thoughts and actions empty our lives of anything that feels positive. In today’s world, we are bombarded with false philosophies, false religions, false ministers; all of which create worldly, evil voids inside us. Even new believers and born-again Christians find themselves filling their thoughts and lives with doubts which lead to sad lives with unanswered questions. At this point, we all need to start to open up our hearts to humble consistent prayer; begin that personal relationship with God again. Our thoughts should cultivate with Bible reading and meditation; then worshiping. Stop listening to the negative and hear God speaking to you so you can get back to walking in obedience, recognizing how God has always been right there. We must empty our hearts, souls and minds of distractions, anxieties; anything that is worldly and evil. In doing this, we can again feel His presence, His love, His provisions; then be filled with positive, joyful, spiritual fullness! When we open back up to His promises we can allow Him to once again supply all our needs; thus, chasing away those feelings of emptiness. When we regain that relationship, we gain that faith and trust we have always had; emptying of the negative and replenishing with comfort, satisfaction, peace. Once we have pushed aside that evil we can surrender whole heartedly to His mercy, grace and guidance. At the moment we realize that the hunger and thirst we tried to fill with evil pleasures, fame, money, false teachings, false ministers, etc., wasn’t filling that void, our lives do a complete turnaround! Remembering why Christ came into this world is the breaking point! Knowing He is the only way back to a positive life will become a need you will constantly be working toward. So today, if you have doubts or feel you are losing your faith; stop, pray, then make the necessary changes to positive choices, actions, interactions. Become grounded in reading God’s word, talking with reliable Christians that will pray with you and for you! Start today and begin filling up that empty with God again!

Let the Son Shine In
Ephesians 5:8, “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.”
Good Morning! Hello to everyone that has realized God has blessed you with another day! My first question to you is, how is the sun shining in your life? Have you awoken to the light of the sun beaming through the windows, the trees; the light overtaking the dark slowly but surely all around? Are we really comprehending how the light is the only thing that can overcome the darkness? The writers in the Bible spoke of true light, being the light, and how the light of the world can be in us daily. God created light to overshadow any darkness. I believe that again, He placed the moon and stars into the night sky to show their brilliance and how even in the dark, we can find the light! My thoughts for you today is to see how God’s light can dwell with you at all times. When you let negative thoughts bring dark, sad, or gloomy feelings that begin to cloud over your day; we have forgotten who provides the light we need. Many times, we allow this world of negative evil to bring about dark, disorienting experiences in our daily lives. And without knowing or realizing those dark feelings pass on to anyone in our lives we come in contact with! Thus, now we have created a domino effect that starts pushing out positivity pushing us into darkness. My question now is, how can you not feel the light of God within you; telling and showing how His light can lead you through any darkness you will encounter? We were called to spread the great commission of reaching all people with the light so they can experience the true light! We were taught songs like “This little light of mine” or “Rise and Shine, give God the glory”, which all tell us to not hide the light! Jesus became the light that dawns within us all! So today, I would like you to find the true light you are given that will fill you, provide positivity, and push you to reflect a light that others will desire to have! Reach deep and stop being complacent, stop being insecure, and let your light shine! Your transformation with the positive light will give you strength to let the SON shine!

Breathe In, Breathe Out
II Corinthians 4:16, “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”
Hello again dear friends! Blessings to you and yours on this new day and all the opportunities that lay before each of us! Today we want to speak about the breathing in and out of Jesus. So many times, when we are in the midst of anxiety, fear, overexcitement; we are told to just breathe! Breathe in air slow and easy and to then breathe out slowly so your body may become more relaxed. Kind of ironic that God began human life breathing into Adam’s nostrils. Then God brought a vision to Ezekiel of how He could bring dry bones to life with His breath! (Ezekiel 37) That breathing of life into bones signified God’s power to revive and restore, no matter the situation. Then we move forward to when Jesus was with the disciples after He rose, John 20:21-23, He breathed the Holy Ghost upon each of them! This is the moment they received the job of taking the good news in all the world. So, our breath is vital in all aspects of living! From the moment we are formed, we are given breath to live. In daily life, again, we have to have breath to function and sustain being. Each day we are given a fresh, renewed breath of day to absorb God’s tender mercy and grace! From our inner being to our outer being; we breathe in God to ignite in us a clean spirit; the nourishment of His power of divine life. As we breathe in the Lord as the Holy breath, we are His, we cling to Him, we take in everything He offers; then we live because of Him! He provided the Bible just so we could refresh and renew daily; receiving encouragement, strength and guidance. The pages hold a breath of fresh air that with every word whether in parables or true-life situations, God showed how His power can change and provide through every moment. His words offer us spiritual comfort, encouragement, deep and peaceful breathing for healing. He becomes our presence of restoration, and trust to a great power which helps us let go of fear, control and resistance. Our breath becomes prayer in every spoken word. So, the next time the devil causes you to become filled with doubt, anxiety, even anger, remember to breathe in and breathe out, while asking God to fill you with His presence!

Across the Silence
I Peter 2:15, “For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.” ESV
Greetings friends! It is another day to be thankful and grateful that God allowed us to awake, to be alive in this moment. In today’s society Christians are told to be silent about God. So many evil things try to put the love of God under a cover like a lid! But God needs each of us to be that voice across the silence; to stand strong together to put an end to this negative world. In His word he had several writers tell the rules for bringing about goodness to a world lost. Peter spelled out how we are to follow laws and choose good leaders to bring about good things. He also told us that pursuing goodness would silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. God has a plan for all our good choices that will shut up those that are prejudiced against our spreading the good news of Christ. Our faith has lived throughout history and the devil has fought to stop the gospel by every means. God tells us that if we continue to do His will, those that seek to destroy by words or false narratives will eventually see the truth. When we continue doing good works, following Christ lead; those foolish people will be silenced. Peter also told us that when we live our lives showing integrity, kindness, while enduring evil treatment, people will see the goodness of God. This is why we must not listen to the platforms that bring negative issues, words, fake news. We need to be a united Christian family that shows the world God’s message. When we live, despite the harsh persecution, we send the message of resilience. When the evil naysayers see our courage they become silenced, speechless and see the visible goodness of God cannot be stopped. God has a plan, always had our journey created. He already knows the ending; His promises are being fulfilled; the end game is near. We as His body of believers need to keep being positive even in the negative; refuting the devil in every moment! Take today as your first, but never your last day, to keep doing His will and speak out across the silence!

Heavenly Father, we come now to thank you for giving us the means by which we can continue the journey in spreading the gospel. We, Father, ask for the courage, strength, that will give us the words to share that will change those that are fighting against salvation and the promises you gave. Help us Lord to speak your truths to a lost world so they will in turn have life eternal in heaven. Amen.
