Why Wandering?

Psalms 119:10, “With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.”

Hello friends! Thankful that we are given another day! Today we want to make sure you are not wandering on the wrong path or journey. Maybe we just need to see why we are wandering at all! In the beginning, way back when you started on life’s journey, you wandered through just taking on whatever came. Some stopped long enough to accept salvation, while others said, maybe later. Those who accepted realized that just accepting didn’t stop the wandering from coming. There would be teen years, college years, then out on your own; the grown-up years. The problem was, they forgot that true acceptance would only be when they followed God’s plan and His guidance during all those years; so, the wandering continued. Finding your way to God or for some, back to God, will bring about a peace and understanding that will be all consuming! When you stop your journey long enough to accept God totally into your heart, and soul; you can then stop the wandering aimlessly. Your journey will now carry a greater meaning and the destinations within that journey will be like a wondrous adventure towards that ultimate goal of a heavenly eternity! You then can embark on a true journey that though there will be pitfalls, you will have a one constant to hold you up and carry you through. God provides all you need through your wandering and then through your journey. So today let’s find a way to stop for just a moment and finally accept that the wandering wasn’t caused by God, but because we didn’t totally give in to His guidance, His teaching, His promises and His love! Take time now and open back up to giving that wandering spirit up and accept the journey that God has laid out for you. Stop the wandering and begin wondering about what is next with God’s leadership!
