No Fear
Psalms 34:4, “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
Greetings Friends! May today be a day of renewing our spirits so that every moment will be counted as a win! Every day we wake up blessed to be granted one more day. Today let us begin a journey that will help us to overcome our fear; then to gain understanding into why we have fear. There are many people in this world who have phobias, or mental disorders that they struggle with on a daily basis. I would like to speak of fear itself, not the phobias due to their deeper meanings. Fear in a Christian’s perspective is what satan uses to control our lives; tending to use it as excuses or tools to stop our following God. The reason I like to push positive thinking is because fear is made up of negative thoughts and beliefs about the world around us. If we have negative thoughts about ourselves then we will have negative thoughts about everything around us. To become fearless, one must learn to replace all the negative thoughts with positive affirmations, thus bringing your mind to remember all your strengths and successes. There is no way to totally stop fear, for we are human; but having control of how you experience and face fear, will be a growth in knowledge you will not want to miss. We need to put our total trust in God and surrender all our fears to God. In every decision, in every moment of life ask God to provide strength, courage. This will mean trusting in God to be there, guiding you through every step of your life. Trust and faith are two of the main ingredients to overcoming fear. Faith, trust and fear are all part of our human makeup. Faith and trust in God as the one constant will help us to drown out fear. Leave fear at the altar and build on faith to allow God to work through all your trials. Acknowledge to satan that you can and will be fearless because you are placing all fear in God’s hands!
