Keep Looking; Keep Finding

Deuteronomy 4:29, “But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.”

Salutations good people! I do hope this finds you waking to positive thoughts and thankfulness for another good day! Today, we want to touch on the ways we can look and find ways to do good, to be good, to show others how being a disciple means to continually look towards the future and a home in glory! Whether we are new believers or seasoned believers, each of us knows that we must have a constant will to study God’s word so that we can be informed and taught everything that we should be looking for and finding that will allow us to be the best disciple that we can be! The need within us after repenting of sins and becoming a born-again believer, is intense and the urge to keep looking for the way to be more Christ-like so that His promises will be delivered is never-ending. James W. Sire quoted, “The focus is not on the role of human experience in apprehending God, not on our grasping after the knowledge of God, not on our search for God. God is already there! The focus is on our receiving from Him the gift of knowledge of His constant, immanent presence.” We must search to find, but we must not lose sight of why we need to search; because we already accepted God, we asked Him into our hearts! We are now looking to find others that need to be accepting of His grace and mercy! Studying His word gives us the armor to fight evil, and the knowledge of how to find those who need Him most and use Christ-like words that will help them in their decision to follow Him. Everywhere we look are souls that need to know God; there is always going to be someone waiting to be found! Actively looking for ways to please God is a must! Your finding will be in whether you have looked by praying enough, worshiping enough, serving others enough, so that others can see Jesus in you! Pressure your mind to ask God in the looking for lost souls and let Him guide you to find them! And don’t go slack on your growth in your Christian walk; keep the faith, trust God in all things! Continue to look so you can continue to find!
