Bring Your Heartache

Psalms 147:3, “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

Greetings Friends! May today find you at peace with all you are going through. Let today be a time of healing, forgiving, trusting and believing it will all work out. Every day there is someone, somewhere waking up still holding pain inside but putting on the best façade on the outside. We all have been there, done that. Finding a way to mask the pain is what we are all good at. But have you ever wanted to find peace that consoles you, protects you, listens to you, then heals you? I will say up front that losing someone is a pain that will not go away; but there is a hope for enduring and healing. Heartache isn’t always about loss as in death. There are many other occurrences that will also leave a feeling of brokenness inside your heart. Some parents have the empty nest syndrome, all the kids off to college, new jobs, etc.! They know they need to let go but there is an emptiness or brokenness that clouds their hearts. There are breakups with partners you have been with since high school, or dated several years. You have a heartache because you couldn’t see the things that made the relationship dysfunctional and toxic! There are also heartaches from family drama, personal failure, even infidelity. The heart is definitely a very fragile organ! It will simply cause the body to suffer from the withdrawal of “feel-good” hormones! There is also the heartache of a newly developed physical conditions, like addiction, diabetes, lupus, cancer; the list is endless. To many, there just seems that there is no avenue out; no light at the end of the tunnel. But there is; and accepting it takes only a small step for anyone wishing to find peace! If you are a Christian, you know with whom you need to rely on; to trust and obey. As someone who isn’t; your first step is to ask God to become your savior, to forgive you, then ask Him to dwell in your heart! Faith is the answer to all heartaches! We must have faith in God to have the answers, the healing, the resources in His word. In all things we must be accepting and give those pains to Him. He will open doors to the right people for the best friendships/relationships, open doors to new successes, open doors to the right physicians; then open your heart to the healing of peace! Open the Bible and start searching for the answers only God can provide, then bring your heartache to Him!
